Rocky Hills Cabins are nestled within the Ozark
Mountains
of Arkansas on a ridge between the
heads of the
Buffalo National River and the scenic
Piney River
near the junction of Hwy 16-21
(Edwards Junction).

The log-sided cabin contains two bedrooms, 1 bath,
and an open living area with a furnished kitchen.
Grill on the back deck while enjoying the beautiful
views of the mountains and valleys, or watch the
stars at night while sitting in the yard around a fire pit.

Located only two miles from the cabin is the
trailhead to the
Glory Hole.  Visitors with a desire to
see even more out-of-the-way places can hike into
the Hurricane Wilderness or the Upper Buffalo
Wilderness--each located within a short distance
from either side of the cabin.

Rocky Hills Cabins are situated in a location from
which to easily access the many hiking trails of the
Ozark Mountains. Enjoy the most photographed site
in Arkansas--
Hawksbill Crag/Whitaker Point. Hike
the trails of
Lost Valley, Pedestal Rocks, Alum
Cove, Sam's Throne or Hemmed-in-Hollow. These
sites, as well as others, offer waterfalls, bluffs,
natural rock bridges, and an assortment of rock
formations.

Enjoy the most amazing scenery in the state as you
float or kayak the upper
Buffalo National River.
Known for its swift currents and clear water, this
stretch of the river offers beautiful scenery of the
bluffs and the mountains.

Scenic roads allow visitors to drive through
mountains with breathtaking views while going
through small communities. Stop in
Boxley Valley
on your drive and view the elk herds that are often
seen early in the mornings or late in the afternoons.

Plan your ideal getaway vacation by staying at
Rocky
Hills Cabins
and enjoy the stunning Ozark Mountain
scenery from your back door.
